Please share some pics of 15400ST in leather or croco straps

Hello

I have just received my first AP, a black dial 15400ST and a, simply loving it.

Being a PANERAI guy I love doing strap changes once in a while to get a fresh look in my watches and I was wondering what would the 15400ST look like with different leather or croco straps.

So if you have one please do share some pics.

Best regards

André

The only way you could get a steel 15400 on leather is with aftermarket links for the strap to attach to the case, if you love changing straps a royal oak isn't for you its a shame changing the bracelet for a leather strap

you could source a leather strap from the rose gold RO

no reason why the steel would look bad on leather just because of how awesome the bracelet looks its good to have options to change things up now and again

The Bracelet is a work of art. Swapping it out for a strap is like wearing Chuck Taylors with a handmade suit.

I came to this very conclusion. Wanted a brown strap for mine but when you take off the bracelet, the watch loses so much of its character.

It is possible to get Steel AP Plots. The RO Italy is Steel an comes on a rubber strap.
Here's a pic I took with my 15400 with a black strap and RG Plots!

Being in Florida, it should be straightforward for you to call Clearwater and ask them if you can/they would supply you with the plots.

I feel your pain. I love the bracelet and will get one for my diver but I do love gators! I think it looks great and the watch is much lighter on leather. If you're only going to use one strap, I recommend buy AP authentic plots and sending them to ABP Paris and having a custom strap made.

Hello Eal, that's a really good idea. ABP makes great straps.

Not a bad idea but I personally love the 15400 bracelet. I feel like it makes the watch.

Here is my 15400 with a ABP Paris custom strap with APbands inserts and OEM plots.
Took forever to finish this project and it cost a furtune.. But it was fun and I was very happy with the look :)
(The watch is now sold in favor for a 15300OR that came with a strap original, but i still have the ABP strap in the drawer)

I LOVE the bracelet on the 15400... But I must admit. Those pictures really make it look nice on a strap also.

It sounds like it's not an easy conversion and that's enough to keep me away from trying. If it were an easy swap is absolutely I've it a try. Well done on your end for taking the time and resources to get the conversion accomplished!
