Thank you my friend.

I have tried on the black dial, but never the champagne dial. Would love to see a side by side comparison.

Your satorial skills are pretty good too!

I tried the black dial version just last month at the AD, it's very nice. Definitely a contender, Eric.

For what it is worth bud, When I was shopping for the 116618LB, I had the chance to try on the RG with black sub dials and both YG versions you mentioned here. While they are all beautiful, they did not stand a chance next to the 116618LB. In PM format, the LB had the most striking wrist presence. As my co-worker would say, it is sooooo obnoxious... obnoxiously BEAUTIFUL. I have long lusted after the YG black dial Daytona but I fear it will be overshadowed by the LB within the same collection.

Thanks for your feedback, Fred.

Based on what you have said, would you recommend getting a RG Daytona instead of the YG? I ask because there is no way I would replace my future YG Sub with either version (YG or RG) of the Daytona.

I came across the same situation when I bought my LB.

Black dial with champagne subidals wins the poll for me.

But I would honestly just get the ceramic one and toss it on a rubber B.

I would say go for the RG, which I did over the YG, as you will already have two beautiful YGs and also the same YG Oyster bracelet. Plus the bezel numbers set up is nicer and more exclusive on the RGs.

Thanks Neil and love that shot too.

I do agree the bezel numbers are much better on the RG model. Too bad the 116528 did not have those.

I will really take my time on this one. For real this time.

Does any one have wrist shots of the 116528 they can post on there with each of the dials as outlined on the poll?

Pictures from the internet do not always provide a proper representation on how the watch looks in real life.

Thanks.

Buddy E - I would say in this 3 way comp, I would go for the black dial in YG with mini champagne sub dial. However, if there is a RG black dial (like buddy Neil's) with ceramic bezel and bracelet... boy, that would be a game changer.

Thanks Fred.

Once I decide between the dials mentioned in this poll, I will need to seriously consider if I like the 116528 more than the 116505 with pink dial. No disrespect meant to Neil, but my personal preference is the 116505 as I like the Daytona on a bracelet more than a strap, however, the ceramic bezel paired with the black dial on Neil's 116515 is pretty sweet.

Only time will tell. Thanks again for your feedback.

Eric I know you don't want strap but have to say I tried on the RG with pink dial and it was amazing. So unique and such great contrast with the sub dials and bezel. I would consider this versus the 116528 black dial champagne sub dials. One is so classy and newer and the other more classic but older look to it. Tough decisions and only way you will know is to try them on and get a feel and then go with your heart!

Thanks Ken.

Between this picture and the ones that Neil keeps posting, it does keep things interesting around here to say the least.

I agree with you and trying them on would be the best way to determine which one works for me. Too bad the AD'S in my city don't carry a huge inventory of PM watches to try on. Maybe need to visit my neighbours down south. I thing the Vegas GTG would be good place to see every model there is.

The good news is there are so many options and all of them are winners so you truly can't lose.

Eric not a great shot in a shop but still hoping to pick this one up, used but did have some plastic wrap on it. Photo does not do it justice. I like both dials, since I always buy used this is appealing just need a few things to go my way and it will be on my wrist.

Thank you to all who replied with your comments and photos! Much appreciated. Based on the pictures posted, research on the internet and my personal dealings with one of these models, I think the black dial with champagne sub dials(unless I am swayed when I see the other dial in person) is my preference for the 116528.

Now the real fun begins when I start comparing the 116528 to the 116505.
