Picked up something different.

This is actually my second Montblanc watch. The local boutique just got it in and held one for me.

What do you think?

Congrats.

It's called the Orbis Terrarum from Montblanc. This is the only one they got in and I wanted to leather strap but after wearing the bracelet for the day, I think it's very comfortable. I still have the strap on order.

Awesome! Montblanc is doing BIG things in the watch arena. They are really making a name for themselves.

41mm and 12mm high. It looks huge in my picture but it's deceiving.

Very nice. Congrats! I went with the Jaeger but the Montblanc was highly tempting:

Stunner. Any movement shots? Or is it solid caseback?

I tried to take a movement shot but could get my iPhone to focus. I'll see if I can take one with my daughter's camera later. They take a Sellita movement and directly integrate the world time module into it not on top. What I like about this watch is that it's easy to operate. Push the pusher at 8 o'clock until you are in your time zone then set the time With the crown. You can see what time it is in 24 time zones or you can press the pusher to change between them.

There is a cool day/night indicator layer underneath the globe that changes throughout the day.

That's a great looking world timer!

Please post more pics, also when you get the leather strap.

MSRP is about $5500 on bracelet. I'm a regular at the Montblanc boutique and they gave me a great deal. I also love pens and have bought way too many over the years.
