Power Reserve on the P.4000 Movement
I wanted to check the power reserve of my newer PAM 572 watch, which features the P.4000 Automatic mechanical calibre, executed entirely by Panerai, 13 lignes, 3.95 mm thick, 31 jewels, Glucydur balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. KIF Parechoc anti-shock device. Power reserve 3 days, two barrels. 203 components. Off - centered oscillating weight.
I wear the watch an average of 10 hours per day and I do not supplement the power reserve by winding the watch during the week. I rested the watch dial up and it continued to run accurately for 86 hours before it finally stopped. |
