Will the Skinny Hands Daytona become collectable?

Does anyone think that the Skinny Hands Daytonas will ever become collectable? Desired/increase in value?

I have a chance to buy a YG one at a decent price. I find it hard to read and prefer the fat hands, but if it was thought that the Skinny Hands version might appreciatte I would give it more consideration.

What say ye?

If this is a duplicate thread please forgive me and don't stone me to death. I am flying on Sonata right now.

I would say that the SS Daytona with skinny hands is more likely to increase in value than the YG version.

Tom, I think any "collectability" may come from the watch being YG as opposed to having skinny hands.

I say that with NO firm foundation in any reference material or feedback other than the fact some collectors are taking a critical view to select gold pieces (albeit vintage) for upward appreciation.

To my knowledge skinny vs fat has as yet not entered into the equation.

I feel one day it will be worth more but i'm on the same page with Mike on this with the prescious metals such as Gold and Platinum for collectability. Sometimes it is hard to tell because with this as with anything in life it can sometimes seem it will turn out one way and in the future we see different.

Either way you will be set but listen to some more input, think hard and make the tough choice. For me it would be the Yellow Gold model.

Shows you what I know. I just passed on a YG 16808 thinking that the market on these would not increase.
