Minus4Plus6.com is Updated!!! Now mobile friendly

Hi All,

I hired Atlal Boudir in Paris to refresh Minus4Plus6.com. After going back and forth over the summer months, the site is now refreshed and viewable on mobile devices, and will now rank higher in Google rankings.

The logo has been redesigned as well.

Minus4Plus6 was initially a web 1.0 site that was getting tired, and I did not want to address the learning curve associated with .php. Atlal did a great job with the colors and the refresh.

Feel free to point out any errors, bad links etc... I believe I found them all, but after building Minus4Plus6 for the last 12-15 years, there were more pages and imbedded links than we all thought.

Cheers,

Sheldon

Nice! The site looks great, and there aren't any snags navigating it so far.

It's an excellent resource; thanks for all the work that's gone into it.

Hey Sheldon.

I've loved / read your site for years as well. You helped educate / nudge me toward getting my first GMT.

On second, thought, you've cost me a lot of money! ;-)

Hoping to meet up someday. Perhaps Fourtaine will have another event in the future.

PS
I would totally buy a T-shirt!

Great site Sheldon and one I look at regularly.

I did notice an error on the loading screen when I went there today to see the update.

On the tab where it is opening it says Minux - not a biggie I know but just thought it prudent to mention it.

Cool thanks! Great catch. Yes, three files make up each page, and one error in the wrong file waterfalls onto each and every page. Bootstrap and .php is a little more complicated that the original HTML 1.0 pages...

Best,

Sheldon

I hadn't thought of a t-shirt, but I did this to my SD4000

Thanks for the compliments on the logo. I hadn't thought t-shirts, but now maybe (hmmmm.)

I did have my SD4000 caseback laser engraved by LaserMarks (http://www.laser-marks.com).

I'll be sharing more of this experience later, but thought you'd want to see the first logo-ed item.

Sheldon,

Your site is and always has been an excellent resource. It will take me a bit to get used to the new format, as to be honest I really liked navigating the old one as it was very straightforward. Regardless, I will continue to visit regularly and thank you for all the hard work.

Big fan of your site, Sheldon.

That engraved case back looks fantastic. The new logo is a winner.

Yes, change is hard but I had to make the switch in order for Google to index it correctly. Google now filters on mobile friendly and responsive design. I did hold my ground on the logo and appears that it resonates. The trick was to embody watches with an allusion to Rolex without stepping on any trademarks.

Thanks all!
