Had my Red Black Bay for a while now and absolutely love it the GMT and DJ have not seen much wrist time.

A really comfortable watch to wear and it's proving very accurate as well, currently around + 2 seconds a day.
Don't think I ever got around to posting a picture on this thread so here it is

And just curious to hear what others think of the leather strap vs the Tudor "NATO". I've still got the leather strap on and I'm liking it more than I expected. I have a bunch of 3rd party NATOs that I want to try with it also but should I give the Tudor NATO a try or is there not much difference visually between that and the leather strap?

Big visual difference. Don't short yourself by writing off the Tudor cloth strap; it is amazingly comfortable!!!!

I didn't like the BB fabric strap, it felt too short and I didn't care for the buckle, so I sold it. But if you have one, why not just put it on and see?

It's amazing!
Stiff enough to feel like a bracelet laterally, and the fine tune ability is a big plus!
Will be trying to use the Tudor buckle with normal natos next

Absolutely but I'm wondering how hard (or easy?) is it to unlatch the spring bars on this watch? I did read John Mayer's review over at Hodinkee, which made me somewhat apprehensive about trying, mainly because I've never attempted to remove a spring bar myself let alone possess the tool for the job.

I can take it to a jeweler easily enough but it's less convenient if I want to switch back to the leather strap or try other non-NATO straps, all of which points to learning how to do this myself. Any recommendations on which tool(s) will make this easier?

I use a Bergeon 6767f that I got from ebay for about $20. It's easy enough to do if you are patient and careful.

It's very difficult. I have the Bergeron tool and I still have lots of trouble. Plus, I'm sure you will scratch the watch. My AD changes the strap/bracelet for free but I prefer my BBR on the bracelet and never put the strap on it.

I have something Black and Blue... And is not a BLNR! I was deciding between the Pelagos blue and this BB Blue, got a good deal on the BB second hand, very happy. Now I need a Red... Lol....

The thing I really like about the BB is that it opens up all sorts of possibilities for bracelets and straps and change depending upon the current desired taste.

almost all modern divers in the rolex line... looks good only with oyster... had the chance to own subc, subc LV.. SDc..SubcND... looks best on oyster...

super hard to match with nato and leather strap...

Unlike BB super easy to change and still looks good...
