AP 15400or on rubber...
Hi all
I'm very close to pulling the trigger on what will be a grail watch for me, the 15400or. Im one of these people who like strap options on my watches though. I know the black dial comes with a black leather strap and the silver/white dial comes with a brown leather. I've seen images of the black dial on a rubber strap but never seen the White dial on rubber. Now, before I get roasted alive for asking I appreciate White dial watches are generally more formal so rubber straps may be seen as taboo but I bet someone out there has done it or seen it and I need to get the option out of my head if it looks horrendous. For background I have a small collection and every piece has a black dial which is why I wouldn't mind the change. However I'm not against another black dial. Over to you guys and girls. Thoughts, images etc Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It isn't a 15400 but here is my 39mm 25860 on OEM rubber strap with plots from Clearwater APSC.

Thanks man, that looks great. I like the diver on the rubber too. Too big for my small wrists though 😔

No problem and thanks for the compliment...My wrists are 6.75 for reference. Might want to look for a mint 15300 (39mm) which "should" take the same strap as mine if you are worried about size. APSC could tell you for sure. Good luck!

Really? That's good to know. My wrists are the same size but the diver looked way bigger on my wrist. I tried the 15300 but worry about the size. I know it's classic but I have a 36mm day date (I know the 15300 is 39mm) and just worry it's become a bit of a dated size. I want something a little bit stand out but not like a huge offshore or something. I was pleased with the 15400 but if you are saying there are rubber straps to fit the 15300 that would be a great idea 👍🏼

Cool. Good advice, thank you. Did you purchase all of your parts via the SC?
