I just left a business meeting and as I was getting ready to leave, I struck up a really nice conversation with a gentleman at the hotel after I commented on his SubC. I originally thought it was a Hulk, but once he turned his wrist up, it was the LN version. He loves watches, just like I do, but when he told me his brother is friends with a higher up at Rolex Argentina, I immediately knew he got a really good deal. Then he told me, on his own, that he bought it, brand new, a few years ago and paid a whopping $3500 USD for it...boy oh boy, how fortunate!

Nonetheless, it was a great conversation and I was happy for him for getting an amazing watch at an unbelievable price!

easier way, befriend a pawnshop owner.

Argentina is one of the best places to buy as a tourist because the official FX rate is much lower than the gray market.

Problem is that inventory is very tight because they can't get dollars to replenish.
