ROC vs RO
The RO is such an icon, that bracelet, that dial! I don't see nearly the number of ROC anywhere. I have a bit of a thing for chrono graphs. Knowing there is no bad or wrong choice here.
In the long run is the RO (15400 or 15202) the one to get over a ROC or ........? |

I think it really depends on your personal preferences - and whether or not you want the chrono complication.
Also there is quite a difference between the three references mentioned. From movements l, to how they wear and overall aesthetics. I am a big fan of the classic 39mm references - so out of those three -- for me it would be the Jumbo. (Which is actually next on my list) I wear. 39mm ROC as my daily wearer. It is by far my most favorite chrono of all I have worn. Just my .02 👍 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

For 39mm I like the 15300 and 202, for 41mm I like the ROC.

I prefer the ROC. Love chronos.
If Jumbo, a bit tougher ... but I think I'd still prefer a ROC with blue dial. That said, the Jumbo is probably the quintessential AP.

i like the RO in 37 or 39mm but for me any larger needs a complication to justify the size
same for any watch

I agree no bad choices here but I'm a chrono-only guy so I have a 25860. The 39mm case fits me perfectly.

I like the 15400/15202. The ROC for me needs to be RG.

I would say the 15202 and ROC are around the same price right now on the forums. While you can get the 15400 for around 6-8k cheaper. So it also comes down to money. If money isnt an issue i would probably get a ROC. But the 15202 would be close right behind it.

15400 over 26320 for the transparent case back showing the beautiful 22ct rotor and the fact that the movement is made in house. On the face of it, 26320 is a better looking watch though.

ROC vs RO
I like the chrono function although I never use it. However, I would chose 15202 or a 39 mm chrono over 41 mm chronos as I believe 39mm is a better slze for RO series. Just to give u an idea, 41 mm ROC vs 39mm dual time;

I prefer ROC over the RO. Sometimes I just leave the chrono running and use it as a larger seconds hand.
Also I prefer the 39mm models over the 41mm. For me, the 39mm shows the Royal Oak in its perfect proportions. |

I went with the 26320 over 15400 as i already have a plain dial rolex sd. But still it was a tough choice when i was at the boutique in tokyo.
Still no regrets with the roc. Here in Australia you don't see many people sporting ap so you feel special regardless of the model you wear Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk |

For the simple design date and time model, i would suggest the RO. It looks great in smaller case.

15202>. The ROC just recently came out previous version was 39mm, the watch is thicker and doesn't have a case back puts many people off
