Thanks all for your replies and comments. I am thrilled to see the other family photos in the thread....sons, daughters, fathers, mothers all sharing in our passion.
I think my favorite is Eric and his sons Batman watch....that thing is awesome!

I love love love this thread. On Saturday I was pushing my 2 year old son in the shopping cart at Costco and as soon as he saw the watch case he let out a joyous cheer. It was at that very moment that I realized I am little by little creating a monster :)

Like Father/Like Son........

Such great pics. I can't wait until my little guy (15 months) is old enough to start his WIS obsession! Right now he just plays with my shiny watch while getting changed.

You would think I bought them PM Rolex watches. The younger one, Lainie, kept saying, "I wish I had a watch that glowed." They picked these out yesterday.

She's also the one who gathers up all the change she can find around the house and says, "look how much money I have."

Here's my contribution...

I have for so long influenced my Wife with my hobby, though she's not really into it, she still joined in the fun...and my Daughter herself got a Watch of which she chose herself...

Nice shots guys...

Our Father/Son photo with my BLNR and his new Seiko.

He knows at some point he is getting my 1999 A-serial GMT Master II Pepsi...his birth year.
A great shot and great choice for a first watch!!

Haha. I bought my daughter the pink LeapBand for Christmas. I hope it doesn't lead her down the smart watch route! (although my guess is that it is inevitable)

Man, I have 3 sons, all in college... I told each they get a Rolex at Graduation...
All are in engineering, so explorer or Sub will be their choices most likely but will let them decide

Tom- you are a great Dad and I am sure the boys are most appreciative of that fine gesture!

Cheers

Like Father/Like Son........

Great thread & nice to see your son has a interest early 👍🏻.

I've loved Rolex ever since my father got his GMT Coke . I wanted my first to be brand new but still kept the tradition & went with the GMT LN.

It's nice to have a hobby in common .

I had an old Omega in my "watch drawer" for years. Looked like someone took a hammer to it... My younger son who as far as I knew never cared for watches asked if he could have it. Darn if he didn't get it all fixed up and it hasn't left his wrist since.
