I voted Pepsi, but I'd flip flop between the 2 because the black looks great as well. UNLESS you already own a Sub / SD, then I'd most likely just stick to Pepsi so they each have distinctive looks.
1. Pepsi 2. Black 3. Coke |

I love the Pepsi bezel, like the Coke, and have the black. Pepsi 9 times out of 10. I've changed the inserts more times then I can count and don't detect any looseness.

That's good to hear. I was actually worried about that considering that I have only switched out the insert 4-5 times total in the last 20 years :)

Most definately PEPSI. One of my favorites but these pictures are making me think I should get a black bezel too.

I think I'd rather own the pepsi, just because it's more iconic, but this is coming from someone that hasn't owned either. I did own a blue dialed watch, which I sold because I just found myself not liking that much color on my wrist, so definitely I could see growing tired of the pepsi.
If it's a daily wearer, I'd probably keep it black. If it's in a rotation, I'd probably go pepsi. |

Pepsi vs Black Bezel Insert Poll
If you've been black for a good long time go Pepsi, change is good. That said I do prefer the nicely faded black insert on my 1675...

I prefer Pepsi as well. Like the black on the more modern gmt (blue/black more so)
this has been discussed but Rolex will prob keep your old insert if you go through RSC. Believe there are many available on trf however. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was able to keep my existing insert when I bought a Coke insert from the Rolex Servive Center in SF. I honestly think that if you ask politely, they will let you keep it. |

I used to think that black is the way to go...20 years wearing the black bezel insert. But after trying the coke a month ago, now I truly believe the pepsi insert is the best looking/fitting for this watch.
I used to think that the blue and red insert makes it look cheap like a common Seiko. My watch originally came with the pepsi but had the rolex service service center switch it to a black bezel when it was a few days old 20 years ago. But having tried all the colors now and switching to a pepsi now, it will stay this way for a very loooong time now....Makes it a true classic.. I guess knowing how much the new pepsi gmt now costs helps a little too |

I think you made the right choice. It looks great on you. Now you and just need a jubilee bracelet.
