On the hunt for a thin vintage Rolex...and it is not gonna be a Cellini. Help needed!
I recently developed an interest in thin watches and of course it has to be a Rollie. Thus far I have found 6426 to be the thinnest at 10mm but I haven't done much research.
Does anyone know any model that is vintage and around 10mm thick...would like to see it at 36mm in diameter if possible... Last edited by The moose; 21 January 2016 at 06:08 AM.. Reason: Wrong spelling |

6424 sits beautifully on the wrist. It's 36mm vs the 34mm 6426. I love my 6426, I always tell people how much comfort it is on the wrist than perpetual a and more aesthetically pleasing since it sits closer to the wrist. Wears larger than most 34mms as well.

Have you considered a 1009? I think they are beautiful watches...either 34 or 36mm

Aha! So the 6424 is with a larger case size at 36mm but the same thickness as 6426, at 10mm?

Or a VeriFlat.
6512...18k only....sub seconds only....oyster. Only Oyster ever made with a manual wind 1000 series movement. 36mm |

I wear both the 1009 Zephyr and the 6424: the 6424 definitely wears thinner on the wrist, but I'm wearing it on a leather NATO anyway.

They're so sexy idk if this link is even safe for work but to answer your question I don't believe so Rolex also made some 38mm dress watches but they weren't oyster cases. I passed on one for 2.2k regretfully |

I have a 36mm rolex precision 6424 that looks like a dress watch especially when paired with a leather strap. Heres a pic of it beside its normal 34mm brother.
