Giving a watch to Son in Law

My Daughter was in town this week visiting with our grand kids from Montana where my son in law is serving in the USAF. They have been here for three weeks while my son in law is in Alabama for training. While here my new submariner 116610 arrived and when my daughter saw it she asked me what I was going to do with the Tag Heuer Aquracer that I was wearing. I hadnt really thought about it but she told me my son in law had always admired it and told her he would like to get one like it someday. Yesterday we packed everyone up for their trip home and I sent the watch as a gift for my son in law who is still out on training. I think this will look good on the wrist of a young Air Force Officer. She was recently serviced so she is good to go and I am glad she will see some use outside of my watch case.

Lovely gesture! I'm sure he will be thrilled. He's got the perfect wife from the sounds of it! She just procured him his first nice watch!

Wonderful gesture!
In my opinion, there is no finer or more personal gift for a man to pass on than a watch he has worn on his own wrist.

What a great gift. I agree with crew. I look forward to someday giving my watches away to my kids and family.

I order very nice company logo'd pens to use while working with my producers and their clients. People react far more when you give them the pen out of your suit pocket than one in a box.
