Oem strap and buckle prices
Does anyone have a UK price list for oem strap and buckle prices. I contacted Panerai online to ask for the price for the tantalum adjustable buckle and was quoted £900. Is this the correct price? £900 seems very expensive for a small piece of metal

In Turkey the crocodile straps are 300 euros. The deployment clasp is 400 euros.. The buckles are also 300 euros.

It is because it is tantalum. I heard a rumor they'll never make tantalum again, b/c it was so difficult to machine and kept breaking their equipment.

Most of the procedures in fabricating and Machining Tantalum are conventional, you only need right types of equipment. The typical procedure involves- forming, bending, stamping, grit blasting machining and welding.
