Platona for 3000USD! (well, not quite but...)
Rolex bracelet prices are indeed funny;
The bracelet for the Platona (78596) in Germany costs 37600EUR, so rounded around 42000USD. The cheapest Platonas for sale here start from around 45000USD. So: Find someone who needs the bracelet - sell it to him for full retail, and you have a Platona for 3000USD. Thank me later! |

sadly that's how business works. Rolex doesn't want to sell it separately and customers have no other choices

The excessive and imbalanced (imho)cost of a replacement bracelet for my TT submariner heavily impacted my future choice in watch purchases.
the biggest reason I have not moved to a full PM rolex

So when you're sporting your platona on a NATO, don't lose the dang bracelet!

The Platonas I've seen here under $50K have the incorrect box and are dinged up. Actually, haven't seen anything under $47K new or used.
