Rolex Newbie - London Used Dealers Advice
Hello,
In just a couple of weeks I am looking to buy my first rolex and also one for my wife but am feeling a little overwhelmed by the number of dealers selling 2nd hand rolex watches here in London. I would be grateful to hear peoples views on what dealers they recommend currently i have been looking at the below shops so please let me know if these guys can be trusted and if there are any other london dealers i should be looking at. Watchclub Watchfinder Watchcentre Thanks Austin |

welcome, I've bought from Watchclub and Watchcentre in the past. Good, trustworthy but London prices!

On a personal note I avoid watchfinder. I would try Blowers In Hull if buying used. They are a little more expensive but I know they only buy the best in to retail. This means anything will only ever have a light polish. They have an office in Mayfair somewhere and I would buy from these guys no problem.

watchclub for sure. If you are lucky enough there will be one suite you right away. Otherwise it requires patience for the one you are looking for to pop up

I would also add Blowers as well, I have used them before and find them good to deal with.

I bought Rolex from Watchcentre a couple of times last year and would definitely buy from them again.

Not quite what you're after, but I suggest you check out the website of Watch Buyers .co.uk. I've been very happy with their service and prices.

Try trotters or rankins, both in Bethnal Green. Both sell used and much better prices than watchfinder.

WatchClub et al around Bond Street are good sellers, but no deals to be had for sure and haggling over price is a non-starter.
When I was in London in January I did find a dealer (don't remember the name) that had BNIB grey market pieces from the Continent and high-quality used pieces at very reasonable prices....if you're standing outside the Bond Street tube stop and walk down to the right (toward the Intercontinental Park Lane) they're about .5-1 block down (depending on how you count the street crossings) - small shop, but good stock in the window. Happy hunting!

I have been using Hackett watches for a while now and have received excellent service and good prices. His stock is listed online.
