Maybe you should consider getting off your soapbox and get back to the discussion about watches.

BTW, I haven't eaten at a McDonald's in years.......However, I wouldn't consider lecturing others on this forum for their health / eating choices. I figure we are all adults here and fully capable of making our own decisions.....good or bad. That's the last I'll say about this because I am here to discuss watches. The open discussion forum is available to discuss topics other than watches. Knock yourself out

You do realise that distilled water contains less impurities than tap water such as salts and minerals, which mean that it will freeze quicker. One might walk out in the cold weather after drinking the stuff and inadvertently turn into an ice berg.

The healthy recommendation is that one should drink only distilled water, or rainwater, and only pure grain alcohol. I saw it in an old documentary film, but I remember it clearly.

Oh ok. I'll switch to rubbing alcohol then! Thanks for the info😜😜

I love this thread. So many issues.

Starting from a mcKID asking about op's watch, to why are you eating at THAT place - it being unhealthy and all -, to how we rolex owners sometimes act douchey just by owning "ROLLIES" (gasped i said it), to social responsibility of having so much to spare while others go hungry, with a dash of views on work ethic, and hopefully to giving that kid a good watch as he might be a future WIS.

Well i come from a third world country, rolex is not very common in my part of the world. Fortunately for me, i won the lottery of birth and was given all the advantages i needed to have a fair shot at being financially successful.

Despite being young, again i am fortunate enough to own and very much enjoy a dj2, subc nd, and blnr (you're next white daytona!) Does it make me feel superior over others, pffft no! Does it make me a watch snob and not appreciate lesser brands, nope. If others have it and enjoy their watch then ill be happy for them... If they are as addicted to watches as much as i am then i might even share a beer and a very lengthy nerdy conversation with them.

Does owning these rolexes makes me socially iresponsible since there are a lot of people strugling with hunger? In a bit yes so i should do some charitable work or venture into philanthropy. It doesnt mean though that i cannot continue to enoy my watches...

Lastly yes please give that kid a "nice watch" surely he will never forget the gesture and might pay it forward someday.

P.S. Rollies!

I really enjoy this forum thanks guys

Hopefully the kid stays with it.... Works his way up the ladder.....maybe a store mgr, supervisor, or franchisee one day. Then can admire his own nice watch!! As far as eating there.... If you don't want unhealthy..., stick with their healthier choices--grilled chicken sandwiches, grilled chkn wraps, eng muffins, bagels, salads, oatmeal, parfaits, apples, egg white sandwich, etc..... Cheers! :)

Ok...according to the Mod's it's official...from this point forward all Rolex Forum GTG's are to be held at a McDonalds location in the corresponding city. We will all gorge on our last meals of McRibs and Shamrock Shakes. Oh...and I almost forgot, the all you can eat Super Sized (Beef flavored) fries are on Albmitch!
