What's up with the Links....

So as many of you know I purchased a Datejust 2 last week from an AD in New Jersey. It is my second Rolex but I also have 2 Tudors, Pelagos and Blue Black Bay. The other Rolex is a DSSD. I had to remove a link from my DSSD, Blue Black Bay and Pelagos but did not have to remove one from my DJ2. So, is Rolex giving us one less link because of the easylink system on the DJ2? But my DSSD has the Glidelock system and the fliplock extension link. I tried on several DJ2s at different ADs and they all fit perfectly so I have the right number of links...So what gives??

If it fits then it's the correct amount of links. I don't think Rolex is purposely reducing the standard number of links on any of their models.

DJii should have 12 full links. I believe all easy-link bracelets come with the same

My sub fit perfect out of the box. DJ I've tried on would need extra links to fit my wrist. Same amount of links on both watches. Im guessing links are shorter on the DJ.

I guess the links are shorter on the DJ2. Just seeme odd. I am not an expert but it seems the watches and bracelets would be a standard size from the factory.
