Ceramic bezel on 15710ST?
Anyone here done this or know where I can get the ceramic bezel of the 15707CE and wondering if it fit to the 15710ST.
The reason why I want to do this. Because I found the satin finishing on the bezel of the 15710ST very easy to get scratches and I think it looks nice with ceramic bezel.

Ceramic bezel on 15710ST?
Buy a ceramic diver and a ss, then find a watchmaker experienced with APs to do it for you. But AP probably won't service it like that. Otherwise you are sol as AP is not going to sell you a ceramic bezel stand alone. So you can do it for a mere 23k!

Don't get me wrong - if AP introduced 42 mm ROOs with a ceramic bezel they would be very, very popular. But the ceramic bezel at the current price point isn't going to happen on the diver or 42 mm offshores. .

I'm not one for modifications, but if they made a ceramic bezel Diver or ROO in Steel, I'd be all over it. Couldn't help myself...

And I've tried to purchase ceramic bezels to retrofit a couple of my APs. AP will NOT let it happen. |

I actually don't love the way the "elephant" looks nearly as much as the diver. The Ceramic bezel looks right at home with that dial. |

For the AP apart getting euther the ceramic or the forged carbon diver and swappi g the bezel with the SS you won't be able to do it, and I am sure if ever you get one of these you won't want to wear the SS as these 2 are awesome comfort wise, even the ce one i have is incredibly comfy for a watch this size, and very light, before having it never would have thought that this kind of watch would be so comfortable |

Wear the Diver .... AP can refinish or replace the bezel during service at a reasonable cost.
... or as said, buy an FC or Ceramic Diver.

Leaving aside the ethical arguments, it might be worth considering if the desire to have your watch look the way you want it, in spite of AP's determination of not accommodating such a reasonable request. |

Not going to happen and while the RO finishing really makes a case for ceramic, it changes the look entirely having the SS screws sharp contrast with the black vs the subtle and beautiful WG/SS on the RO.

Then stainless it is my friend. On looks alone it is probably my favorite. Wear and enjoy it. AP will take care of it in due time.

And my point is that is not going to happen, at least until AP releases that version, if ever. Mind as well accept it.

I haven't scratched my bezel yet after 8 months of daily wear. Okay, 7 since it was a APSC for to get demagnetized. They can polish out quite a bit. But thanks for the ps mock ups! The first thing I asked the sc about was a ceramic bezel for my 15710. It would be prefect if in titanium with ceramic crowns and bezel. Okay, so it's ss. Give me the ceramic crowns a bezel. okay okay, I'll just take the bezel. its a direct fit from the ceramic diver. And thats now discontinued. I'd gladly pay say 2500 more for ceramic crowns and a bezel. Seriously!
