I never like the design of AP. I didn't see the reason to use cheap rubber on high end watch.

I would take a gold Rolex over a SS AP. I had the same decision and decided that if I'm willing to spend 12k on a 15400. Might as well save and spend 20k on an all gold Rolex.

The only AP I like is the 15202, and I always prefer steel, so a 15202 or some steel rolexes

I have AP ceramic diver, if I could do it over, I'd probably get the gold Sub...

Why do you regret not getting the sub? Anything specific about the AP diver that you don't like ?

AP certainly is better designed than any Rolex. Much more stylish case. But Rolex seems to be more sturdy/rugged
