AP Factory Tour?

Does anyone know if it is possible to tour the AP factory in Le Brassus (or nearby)? If so, is an appointment needed? Any other advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Some members here were invited. I am curious how one gets invited to such things. Anyone know how?

Needs to be organised through an AD or importer

This.

A group of us here were invited last year and the answer is simple...(very strong) relationship with AD. After buying 4-5 AP's you will get on their radar. It's an amazing trip and if you ever get to go, it will be something you'll never forget

Awesome pic; too bad the Patek sneaked in there to "ruin" it!

Become an ambassador then you'll be invited and get free AP's!

Who’re the two chancers, with a 5980R and 5960, trying to get in on the action?

I'll let them ID themselves (both TRF members) if they care too

But seriously, many brought multiple watches--we love them all!

Such an amazing experience. AP really does everything first class and they are amazing hosts. My local AD really isn't the best but I was able to build up a relationship directly with AP to get invited to special events. When I purchased our wedding watches AP invited us out to Geneva/La Brassus for part of our honeymoon. Worked out well because after my wife was able to see the history and craftsmanship that goes into making APs she doesn't get as mad when I buy more.

The 5960 was me PJ, what can I say, I sold my AP's before the trip. There's a sliver of a Cartier in that picture too lol. Here's the view out the back door of AP.

Invite only from AP. I was lucky enough to receive the invite to visit Le Brassus a couple of years ago and can assure you it was the trip of a lifetime

Nice gifts in the room 👍

I wasn't actually invited per se but I was vacationing in Geneva 2 years ago and wrote in to AP to request if they can arrange a factory tour for me and they happily obliged. It was a half day private tour and was an unforgettable experience. It's amazing to watch how the master watchmakers of AP handled and made the timepieces patiently and meticulously brought me a whole new level of appreciation to the brand. I got to talk to many watchmakers also during the trip and ask many questions.

As I understand, AP boutiques and ADs organised such tours ( but in groups ) periodically for selected customers. I guess the selection process will be based on your buying record. If you are a customer with a good buying record ( I reckon 4 to 5 pieces ), no harm to ask. Good luck.
