except for that date window being way too far toward the middle, signaling a movement that's way too small for the new, larger case. |

The riveted bracelet looks very cheesy to my eye. I'd have to order in leather and swap it for the current gens bracelet.

I like the look of the BB36 although too small for me. My wife would be all over it though!
Love the Bronze too - cant wait to see one in person!!! Not a big fan of the riveted bracelet on the BBB and not really too fussed about the other new additions. Just my two penneth!! |

Some pretty good stuff. Advisor is a bore. Wish they hadn't smoked Clymer/Mayer's private stash and put those fake rivets on the BB bracelet.
+1 for much improved power reserve now that 2824 is history (at least for the BB).

The Advisor's quarter-hour alarm markers where the minutes should be kill it for me. That would drive me mad, forever squinting at the inner minutes ring, partially obscured by the minute hand.

I love how the Tudor brand is more communicative than Rolex. For example, they admit that the Advisor was enlarged to fit modern tastes - I like that they are shedding some light on the reasons for the design.

As one poster above said- absolute amateur hour for Tudor. Rolex shined. Tudor- not so
Much. And I love Tudor. Own a BBB. Love it. But this release was pure amateur hour in design. Upgraded BBB movement nice. IMHO. |

I don't see what's amateur about the 36mm Black Bay? I agree, the other BB releases don't do much for me personally; the brown hues of the bronze model looks nice, but they failed by making it 43mm IMO.
However, the 36mm BB is a watch many people have been asking for, albeit most would have preferred to see a 36mm Explorer. We all know that won't happen though because the 3132 won't fit in a 36mm case, so they've have to equip it with a 3130. I think this 36mm BB will sell exceptionally well! There's still a huge audience for a do-all 36mm watch. I kind of like that it has a ETA 2824 only for the sake you can be anywhere in the world with that thing and get it fixed should it breakdown on you. |

The 36mm seems perfect to me.

Some incorrect info being shared here. The stainless Black Bay will remain 41mm width. It's only the bronze that is 43mm.

None of these really grab me. I would have taken a look at the Black Bay 36 if it came in blue. LOL Even the Tudor Style could have been a winner but it's really not that fantastic. Too bad.

Really sorry to hear that the new movement requires use of a bubble back. I agree with Adam, the flat back of the BB was one of it's key features, for me anyway.

Any word on the ranger getting the new in house? Was going to buy one sooner than later but now considering waiting to see if it gets the in house...I like the 70 hour reserve and the official cert...but ease of service with ETA is nice...thoughts?
