What Would You Do, When the Dial's Lumes Fade?

Guys,

Just would like to have your opinion on this...as it will happen soon or later...

What Would You Do, When the Dial's Lumes Fade?

Any comments would be appreciated...

Nothing. I also stopped worrying about batteries in my electronic devices.

Enjoy the watch. Rolex makes a great product. And try not to open the case (for service, etc.) any more than you have to.

I haven't been a collector long enough to have my lumes fade, but I'm actually looking forward to them. The Patina (thin layer forms naturally on things as they age) I've seen on vintage subs/divers just compliment these already awesome Rolex timepieces even more. These may even increase their values to discerning collection circles.

If mine ever fades, I'll be p1ssed if anyone swaps them for new ones. Just my HO.

Rolex lume is so weak that it is nothing I ever think about anymore.
Except when I was so initially disappointed by how horrible the lume is. I'm over it. If I need lume I wear something else.

Just look at this vintage explorer 1 - circa 1960. Just gorgeous!! And selling at a pretty decent markup - ~$14k with papers.

(Not my pic - snagged online)
