Rolex datejust green dial

Has anyone seen such a dial color?
During the weekend I randomly went into a used watch store and saw a lovely watch. According to the owner its a Datejust 16234 and he's willing to give it to me at USD 2,500.
I was looking for a white dial but somehow the green got me.
Ive never need a green dial and was wondering if Rolex produces such colors.
Advice would be great. Im willing to buy it if it is the real thing. (store owner didn't have any papers or other information...)
Thanks!

I haven't seen this model with a green dial before, but that doesn't mean it was not produced...
The ticks for the minute markers look very small which makes me think this could be a redial.
Sorry I can't be more clear.

Most likely a redial, there's a dealer in CA that does a bunch of those in a wide range of co;ors. You can usually find them on eBay as well. A redial on a DJ isn't quite the sin of one on a 5508, if you like it, buy it.

The watch itself looks nice, good case and a D bracelet, that's a decent price. At that price you can buy an original dial to put in a drawer to keep the purists happy. :)

I too think it's an aftermarket dial, but I like it and it wouldn't be an issue for me.
