Northern Lights Optic.... I don't own them (yet) but had the pleasure of trying them on during a trip to Vancouver BC. Wow is all I can say. When I tried them on in the store (Roden Gray) everything actually looked sharper with the sunglasses on. Most impressed and I have probably 20 different pairs of high quality sunglasses and the quality of the optics and frame was significantly better than anything I have now. (I have a typical large asian head with a small nose bridge so finding sunglasses that fit are tough).
They were about $300 so not overly expensive but at the time I just couldn't justify another pair of sunglasses (and chafed at the 12% sales tax, yea I know).... but I keep going to their website, so it's just a matter of time, I know it. They are a small Vancouver BC based company. Their website is nice but it doesn't give a list of all retailers and trying to get help with a list of retailers was a frustrating experience (don't ask two or more questions in an email cause only one question will be answered, and curtly). |
