GMT Master II SS with Pepsi Cerachrom bezel - any possibility ???
Do you think Rolex will ever release Pepsi Cerachrom bezel on GMT Master II SS in near future, maybe 2017 ?

I dont think you will see a pepsi bezel on a SS GMT until Rolex releases a GMT master 3 (which would be an entirely new model). Rolex put the pepsi bezel on white gold for a reason - to make it exclusive. People pay big $ for that exclusivity and if it was to get ripped away it would seriously erk some customers.
Also, consider the fact that it would be an identical watch in SS and white gold. The only way i could ever see this happening is if they discontinued the white gold version. Giving it a short run might create collectibility and sate the anger of PM buyers. Doubtful tho. You are better off hoping for a coke in SS. |

You'd think they'd at least release the Coke dial if not the Pepsi on SS

The question becomes: will they use the same red as seen on the blro or make it a solid saturated red like the blue on the blnr. Probably the latter....then combine the solid red on coke with solid blue on blnr to make THE ULTIMATE PEPSI....jk won't happen

Your best hope would be that Rolex replaces the current reference, which is getting a little old at this point, and decides to offer a SS Pepsi on that watch. I don't think it's going to happen though.
Either save up for the white gold model, or buy the much cheaper and better looking 16710. |

Unless they can improve on the current blue/red Cerachrome mixture, I'm hoping for a Coke now. Not a fan of the light purple and cranberry colors of the WG BLRO.

If GMT Master III with the new movement and/or new dial were released, your dream for the SS C BLRO would come true.

I hear this a lot but Rolex does put BLUE on both the solid gold and TT Subs. Doesn't that count as the same look on two different price points? |

Only Rolex knows, though we imagine it would be very popular.

TT has a completely different look compared to a solid gold bracelet. The white gold pepsi would look identical to the SS pepsi to the untrained eye. Additionally, TT is less popular than SS so this is probably in part to boost TT sales.

They are both "gold". It would be like offering the ice blue PT DD dial on the SS Datejust. It would be almost impossible to tell them apart.

They will make a "Coke" but it will be in platinum. That`s the rumors I hear from my sources ;)

Given the weird brown/PT association on the Daytona, I'd like to see a PT root beer introduced. They would sell five, and it would become an instant collectible. |

Example, blue bezel/dial on an 18k white gold Submariner. As a result this will never be offered in stainless steel. Same with the red/blue 18k white gold GMT. |

Can you put the red/black bezel on the SS as a retrofit?

No red/black bezel currently exists for a modern GMT.
If you messed up the colors and are refering to putting the red/blue WG pepsi bezel on the SS...the answer is no because it would be nearly impossible to source one of these bezels and then you would have to find a watch maker willing to do it. And forget about the resale value on that watch or ever getting it serviced by Rolex. |

Maybe not a Pepsi but a coke is a possibility. We have the black and blue combo already in SS.

Does Rolex's timeline and history of releasing new models/movements support a potential GMT Master III in the next few years? If so, it wouldn't be surprising to see a SS Coke GMT Master III as the flagship initial offering for the new model.

the previous GMT 16710 was in production for 18 years or so. The current model has been around for about 11 years. Id say your looking at a solid 6-8 years before there is any chance of a new model. This is highly highly speculative but you asked.
