Excellent points on both sides of the coin. Boils down to what do you really want...when you know, go get it.

I may be wrong (I often am!), but I believe it does according to ISO 6425 which is the international standard for diving watches.

Appreciate the additional information. I'm heading over to my AD in the AM to pick up the SD. I'm pumped and won't get much shuteye tonight! I'll post the obligatory pics tomorrow evening. Also picking up a pair of diamond earrings for my best friend for our 30th Ann. Married while in college and raised three awesome boys. Tragically lost our oldest son a few years ago but life continues. Appreciate all the great watch wisdom on this forum. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congratulations on your decision damoore and nice that you recall, even in this moment, the loss of your son years ago.
Regarding the two watches, I have an inkling that the new Sea Dweller will be a future classic. The proportions are right and it looks a little smaller than the Sub, despite its thickness, which works for many with smaller or average sized wrists. |

Brilliant. Date is officially not a deal-breaker anymore with the subND. Thanks!

I switch from the SD4000C to the 114060. Mainly because I couldn't stand position of the date window of the SD4000C. I find it positioned too much into the dial. Other than that, it is a fantastic watch with slimmer lugs.
