16520 Inverted vs non inverted

Hi experts,

I am thinking about getting a black dial 16520. I slightly prefer the round inverted six dial variant, with all brushed bracelet.

How much of a premium should these demand, if at all?

Also, are there variations in bezels too?

Thanks!

There will be a premium because the brushed bracelet versions was used only on the earlier serials, R and L. These versions have very specific dials and very specific bezels, both commanding a premium too and very hard to find if not installed on the watch.

Search for "R series Daytona", "floating cosmograph" "4 line daytona dial" "200 uph bezel", "225 uph bezel" for reference.

Thank you! I found the attached document that says which versions have what kind of bezel and bracelet.

It appears that aside from L and R, the E series and N series also have brushed bracelets, despite having the standard 5 lines.

Are those produced in higher numbers and are easier to find?

If you slightly prefer it over the regular version then just buy the regular unless you are ready to pay a pretty big premium. I have seen 16520 staring at high $8k but one with an inverted 6 would probably be north of $10k.

Yup, E and X series with brushed bracelet will be cheaper than R and L series but still not easy to find. They will have a standard 400 UPH bezel and a 5-line dial with inverted six.

Happy hunting!
