What Rolex model you would never ever buy?

Hi,

Rolex is so nice, but for me there are models that just don't do.

  1. I would never buy a Yacht-Master II! I just do not like the design.
  2. Also i would never buy a Daytona on straps.
  3. And Finally, the air-king, i see not point on this model.
  4. And i will always try to stay away of two tone models (Except a SUB with blue dial)

What about you guys? Please be kind, i know i just a matter of taste, but Rolex owners seems to be passionate about their models.

Waiting for the opinios and the

Thanks!

Yikes. Most.

My must haves are

Date with cyclops

Fluted bezel

Jubilee or President.

Sticks.

Day complication is and possibly handy in my dotage.

Cheers.

Looking forward to a 126331 or a good Rootbeer.

I NEVER say NEVER!

But...
I could not see myself wearing a YMII

Other than that - I'd say anything is fair game!

I do not like the YMII, I disagree with you (and most it seems) about the new AK.

YM II. If I was given one for free, I wouldn't even open the box.

If money was not an issue I'd buy every Rolex model available.

But because it is an issue, I have no plans of purchasing a Leopard Daytona.

Nothing with a fluted bezel and not the YM - all very unappealing to me. (I quite fancy the new AK, I confess).

You never know but I don't see myself ever getting a Cellini because there's a long list of other dress watches I'd get first in that price range.

What Rolex model you would never ever buy?

I would never buy a non-working Rolex
But - outside of that, I'd buy any model since it's worth knowing what wearing every model is like.

I actually think this is a fun thread... I don't think I would ever buy a Air king or an Explorer, but not because I dislike them just don't like them enough to spend then money on them. If someone was giving them away, I would wear anything in the entire lineup with pride.

I can't say that the Milgauss, the Yachtmaster, the Daytona, the Explorer II, the Skydweller, or the Air King appeal to me.

Now, if any one of those happened to fall out of the sky and land in my pocket, I'm not saying I'd send it back. Rather, I won't be buying any of those models for myself. And, of course, no disrespect intended towards anyone who favors those models.

Very similar to the OP. What I avoid for watches I intend to wear:

-Yachtmaster II
-Anything on a jubilee bracelet
-Anything on a strap
-Cellini
-Anything smaller than 36 mm
-Anything with a diamond dial

YMII -- no need for the functionality, do not care for the looks
Sky Dweller -- no need for the functionality, do not care for the looks
Sea Dweller -- too large and heavy for me
Deep Sea -- too large and heavy for me
Pearlmaster -- do not care for the look

When asking my son his preference for his 21st birthday, e stated he would not want a Blue/Black, a none date Sub or a DJ!

Because he would get mine when I die!
