The crown guards aren't even close to right. Too large and hug the crown too much

What year is the watch?
Very hard to tell via a still photo, but there seem to be some significant imperfections on hour markers. I couldn't see any etching on the inside of the case either. As poster above said, need to take the bracelet off and check for a serial #. Also, what about it's heft? Does it feel like a Rolex? Does the second hand sweep? Do you hear any kind of ticking noise when the second hand is sweeping (must hold it to you ear, of course). One thing it does have going for it, the cyclops magnifies the date (should be roughly 2.5X). Most cheap knockoffs do not, but the more expensive ones do. Take it an authorized Rolex dealer and have them check it out. |

while I'm not as knowledgeable as others here in regards to GMTs, that crown sure looks questionable...it borders on the grotesque.
when/if in doubt, walk away & procure your watch via a reliable source. |

No way, Jose.
The word "perpetual" looks weird, the date looks weird/magnification is wrong, rehaut looks too deep... I would steer clear. |
