Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

1680 reference

5.6 mil serial number circa 1978 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. No major dings or dents. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.

Dial is MK3 variant with closed 6's. All of the luminous material has been removed from plots. The hands are tritium, show very little patina, and no longer glow in dark. The date disk is silver, correct, with open 6's and 9's.

Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 580 ends, 11 links total, "patented" stamped diver's extension and J3 date code on clasp.

Caseback is original Rolex part, but stamped 5513, so swapped from a non-date Sub at some point.

No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds and runs.
