I own both and would say the explore is definitely more comfortable of the two.

214270 or 114270. The extra large sub crown always bothered my wrist. 214270 is supremely comfortable. You'll forget it's even on wrist.

Much better than the. 114060 I had - the Explorer is the only 6 digit I like, prefer 5 digit Sub/GMT |

How about a 116000 Blue 3 6 9? You can even substitute in explorer hands to make it effectively a blue 36mm explorer with updated bracelet :)
