Buying a YG Skydweller question
Hi
I am thinking of buying a yellow gold Skydweller from my local AD. I have tried it on and love it, but it's also more money than I originally planned to spend. The advice I need is what discount would you be aiming for if you were in my shoes? I've so far negotiated 8% however I would like to know if anyone else has had more success than this buying the same watch from an AD? I've not exactly pushed hard for this so I feel I can get more off whrn I return to the negotiations. PS I'm based in the UK. PPS I want to buy from an AD rather than the grey market, so I appreciate I am not maximising my full discount potential! |

I think you can get 15% from an AD if you shop around.

20% AD discount in Canada and 5% sales tax.
I bought mine in 2014. I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere that AD margin is smaller now-a-days ... so the above number may not work now, |

Just to update this for anyone interested in this watch, I ended up buying it for £27K so a roughly 12% discount. I have to be honest I didn't negotiate as hard as I should towards the end, I just wanted the watch! The sales rep seemed happy so I know I paid too much, but nevermind I have a lovely watch. Thanks for the advice guys and I reckon £26K would be very achievable, maybe even £25.5 for the best negotiators.

Congratulations - please do share a picture or two and comments if time permits (especially on the bulkiness of the case) as this is on my list for the next incoming. Thanks.
