Trade mt sub 14060 forma 116200/116234?
Hi Guys,
I'm in a dilemma... After buying my GMT BLNR bnib a couple of weeks ago in Japan I feel I've lost my interest in my 2009 no date sub. I feel the clasp, bracelet and ceramic bezel are massive upgrades but still the general watch looks are kind of similar, I know I should be a WIS and know better but somehow it's how I feel. I can sell my sub for a decent price which means I won't lose any money on it. But now I'm doubting which watch I should replace it with. Liking the stick dial datejust but not sure if I should go jubilee or oyster and 18kt bezel or just SS.. I do know that I don't like the roulette wheel and like the white/silver dial color. Would love some input from you guys Edit: autocorrect on the title.. Sorry :p !

You have a sporty watch, I would go more dressy, jubilee with fluted bezel. Plus that is the iconic look of the DJ. In the end though buy what sings to YOU.

I have had almost every SS sport model, and my favorite still (I've bought 4 of them) are white with Romans. classy and timeless. They catch the light and always "light up"

I think you might end up regretting flipping your Sub. The fact that you can do so without losing any money ought to tell you something. However, it's all too easy to say keep it and just buy another reference; money doesn't grow on trees but if you can afford to add without flipping, that's what I would do.
As for what next, from the pictures you've posted I'd go fluted bezel with Roman numerals. Not my bag (I prefer sports watches) but it's the nicest looker of all the ones you've posted. Good luck

I honestly can't imagine getting rid of the 14060 for just about any watch made in the last few decades.

All these no's are making me insecure :p It's a double decision really. The sub will need maintenance in 2 years tops, now I'm getting what I payed a year ago +10% which is nice Calculating the cost of the service and my profit I would only need to pay an extra 400 dollars to get a bnib 2016 datejust.. And the sub feels dated compared to the brand new Blnr

Maybe trade towards a new 116610? If not, that 116234 on jubilee looks fantastic.

My preference is the 116200. Not a fan of fluted.
