Nope. All stickers must go...part of the beauty of the Rolex (for me anyway) is how good the metal feels against the skin.

Stickers off! I hate when people do that. Or leaving the manufacturers plastic on their cell phone. Or TV, or yes, even couch. I've seen it.

When you buy a car, do you leave the sticker in the window?

Stickers, like Sunburns, eventually peel on their own

I suppose it's good for the next buyer? When I bought my sub I found some stickers were still there but because of that the watch looks like new

I'm personally guilty of keeping the stickers on all my modern Rolex watches to the point that I have been called a fake collector and/or rumored to not own my watches as I am posting dealer stock! LMFAO!!!! Hahahaha!!! Here are a few pics...
To be honest, there is no rhyme or reason why I keep the stickers on other than I rarely wear most of my watches... Here is a video I filmed a number of years ago peeling said stickers off my 218235 with a fellow forum member ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFQ3MGISv9k

I wonder how long it takes for a Rolex employee to put those stickers on.

If you can't afford the scratches, you can't afford the watch.

This is a really bizarre thing. Stickers trap bacteria, dirt, etc. They might even encourage scratching on a gold watch.
Whatever floats your boat though. Jocks has a pic of his watch all protected from scratches somewhere. He added his own scratch protection tape. It looks great. I recommend it if you're that worried about a couple scratches. It's just a watch, one of millions of others. Life's too short to waste time worrying about some desk diver marks and hairline scratches, or even small dings , on a wristwatch!

I always leave the sticker on the clasp only since it seems to be the most scratch prone part. That clear sticker ABSOLUTELY protects from scratches and anyone who talks about dirt and germs building up must be doing some stuff I don't do when wearing a nice watch. Bear in mind all of my pieces are 18kt gold so that may make some difference.

Well, not wearing it at all would prevent scratches too. I've found the less I worry about wearing watches, the more I enjoy them!

Nope. The stickers come off at the AD before I walk out the door...every time.
Enjoy it- and don't worry about scratches -- they are gonna happen anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would said. Its your watch, do whatever you like. Keep the sticker, or peal the sticker, do whatever you liked. Ignored the scratch with character therory. Scratches does not give your watch a character. Its a nonsense theory.
An mind our own business. Please don't comment on others people wearing with tags or sticker. Its non of your business. Please respect other people. People is happy with it, it does not bother other people or harm other people. |
