DD40, DJ, or perhaps a Cellini if we are talking Rolex only.

If you wanted to hear Daytona C, I am not going there...

What's missing is what you want, and only one person knows the answer.

Nothing, that is a great duo... But if like me odd numbers feel like the answer, I would seek something on a strap.

If your not ready for the strap idea, a Daytona C white dial would be ideal.

You need to round the collection off with a white Milgauss

The obvious and best answer (imo) is the Daytona 116520 or 116500 with white dial to add maximum variation.

Second choice would be some kind of dress watch like a datejust (preferrably on jubillee and fluted bezel to add more variation)

Chrono and a dress watch. The perfect four: Sub, GMT, Daytona, DD/DJ.
Vintage for me but those four from any era make a great collection.

Consider a Patek Dress watch....

If your going to class it up really go for it...annual calendar or a Calatrava. I like the 5107 Calatrava.

Tool watch practicality? In that case white dial Explorer 2 or white dial Milgaus. For something completely novel a Rolex Oysterquartz with a white gold fluted bezel (yes I am looking). Those puppies are gonna be worth a lot soon.

Land, Sea, and Air.

So land, I guess traditionally is an EXI or EXII. Maybe can get away with a Daytona.

I will go with what has been said already, white dial Daytona or a great Patek on a strap, rose gold of course.
