Incoming - Tudor Style 34mm

I bought my partner her first decent watch recently: a 34mm Tudor Style with silver dial - see pic.

I love the dial and hands - very impressive in any light, and the case is well made, of course... but the cheap feel of the steel bracelet is very disappointing (although the clasp is fine, with its ceramic balls). It's a shame as it's a good looking package, and with the significant discount available it's very good value for money (relatively). My partner seems very happy with it, which is the main thing, but I'm just glad I didn't buy myself one as it doesn't touch the quality of the Ranger or North Flag. I know those two cost a fair bit more, but the difference was striking. I'm surprised the bracelet issue wasn't highlighted in any of the reviews I'd read, to be honest.

I think we both would've been happier with an OP but that wasn't possible, unfortunately.

So there we are. I'm not particularly upset, as the tone of this post might infer, but I am a little disappointed. The lesson is always get your hands on what you want to buy, before handing over your cash!

I love Tudors I still own 2. I am truly impressed with value for money. Sorry to hear about your issue but as you said all that matters is your partners opinion. And you are right I still own one piece I bought sight unseen and I have my reserves aswell. The problem with Tudor that I have come to see. Is Rolex has such a branding stigma in most people's minds Tudor is an inferior watch. Which as you said above the piece is far less exspensive. My cousin who loves only Rolex and never wanted to touch on of my Tudors because it wasn't a Rolex recently bought my Date+Day and he hasn't taken it off since and tells me how impressed he is. I just laugh and say they are great watches.
