Had a similar experience with my sub. Went thru ben bridge jewelers tho, and they just informed me my watch had a aftermarket bracelet, and therefore wasnt worth as much as it would be with a factory one. Not something that concerns me as this watch is gonna be on my wrsit when im dropped in the ground.

What does rolex do with the fake parts? Just throw them in the trash?I assume they are burned in a furnace as rolex hates counterfeit parts and watches with there branding on

ok plan-B wont work... i just rang the local RSC and their policy is 1 for 1 on parts so if i take it in without a dial they will refuse to take it completely.
Must have a dial and be complete before they will touch it.

I understand thats their policy but too bad for someone that has genuinely damaged their watch and lost parts wanting it restored by Rolex.... bit rude if you ask me
thats my 2 cents (at local exchange rates thats not worth 2 cents anyway lol)

ok crisis over... i just found a NOS dial half way around the world and hopefully will be getting shipped tomorrow
for what it cost me i should easily be able to sell the submariner dial and recoup my outlay making this a very cheap genuine sea-dweller
Now as long as it arrives ill be a happy camper :)
