I love the BLNR, and I'm wearing mine as I type this, but in your collection I'd add the LVc first. The reason being you already have all watches with polished center links, and you should have one without.
Just my opinion, of course, but I think it's mandatory to have at least one watch with that tough, utilitarian look. (SD4K fills that need in my collection.) |

Hulk really sparkles. The blnr is basically a gmt with a half blue bezel. The hulk simply pops big time.

I'd choose the BLNR over the Hulk anytime.

I'd go for BLNR. I think it's more versatile than the hulk. |

Thanks everyone for your input. I'm leaning towards BLNR but the Hulk is really unique. Really wish I could pick up both at the same time 😃

You'll likely end up with both.

I chose the BLNR first, had it just over a year and I'm currently waiting for a LV to come into work to buy that too. You'll probably end up with both so pick the one and start your quest for the other :)

I couldn't decide ended up with the BLNR first and the LVC 12 months later. Best outcome.

Those are two nice (and popular) choices and you will probably end up with both. I favor the hulk because it has the glide lock clasp, no PCL's, trip lock crown and it just feels a bit more substantial. The look also varies depending on the lighting; in low light it just looks like a regular Sub and in bright sunlight it has a much different character depending on the lighting angle. I would be far more inclined to own the GMT with a coke bezel (red and black) as the blue and black combo just doesn't have enough "pop" for me. As a former owner of the old school Pepsi bezel, I'd really like the new version, but I can't justify the PM cost. I've only tried on the BLNR a couple of times so I might have a different opinion after a period of ownership.

BLNR without a doubt, the GMT complication makes it a far more useful watch

Glad to see this thread. Clearly everyone has their opinion. I am going through this same mental debate but lean towards the LV.

LV in my opinion. The BLNR looks great in close up photos but in the wild not so impressive.

I have both and love both but if I could only have one, it would be the LVc. That dial is special.
No wrong answer though, good luck

versatile than the LVC ... Not to say the LVC is not nice .... IMHO it's very limited unless color coordination isn't your thing ... Or you just don't care about matching . Green IMHO does NOT match with everything and anything as some would like to think unfortunately ... One mans opinion but I gather I would have a few on my side of thinking .... If you really must have the LVC add it later or just get it and forget about versatility .... What the heck , it's ST. Patrick's day everyday and the Leprechaun is at the end of the rainbow waiting with drinks !!! Best wishes and oh ... Get the BLNR !!! It's already 100 meters water proof probably more Than you'll use ... Plus it has the multiple time zone function ... A lot more bang for your buck than the LVC . |

Blue>Green Tried the "Green money" Rolex and it just wasn't all that. You already have the best sunburst in the Biz. Time for some practical versatility with stunning good looks.... Blue et Noir! P.S. Brushing the PCLs cost barely anything and is reversible if you change your mind. |
