I'd suggest this. I bought my first two at one shot, and a third less then a month after the first two. The third I'm kinda on the fence on.

Thank you for all the great advice. I agree , a lot of the fun is in the hunt. I am not planning on flipping any of the Rolex watches I buy.

Take some time to learn the brand and what your tastes are. No fun buying them all at once.

Take advice from me, sit back and enjoy your watch.
When getting a new watch, you build a strange bond with moments while wearing it. When you start buying a bunch of watches at once, you don't get to build that relationship with it. Sounds weird, but that's how I feel.

+1

Agree completely. Binge-buying isn't a good experience, you wind up watering-down your appreciation before you've had a chance to build one.

That said, he did purchase a very large/bulky Sport watch so I could be swayed to recommend a smaller/classy Dress watch instead, a white-dial Datejust perhaps for those occasions where the SD isn't appropriate.

After I bought my BLNR last year, I found myself looking at SubC No Dates...my wife (who was very supportive of my getting the BLNR, my first Rolex) suggested I wait a year before getting a second one. Wise woman, she is....like others here, you get to appreciate your current watch that much more, and get to really think about what your next movement (pun!) will be. Too much too soon, especially when you are just starting out, may not be a good thing.

Funny how our watch choices change over the years.
Still a beautiful addiction.

I had good luck buying the D- Blue from a local AD Store I'm thinking about taking a crews over to see what they have . Should I wait or should I just get them now ? I'm not sure but I think I am HOOKED
if its within your budget, it's never too soon...but i would at least give it six months so that you can enjoy your first one for a while.

I think the DSSD is polarizing both in size and character. To that end, a Daytona would be a great accompaniment to it. It would give your fledgling collection range in size, dial color, and the aforementioned character. You have a diver, adding a chrono or GMT is the next logical step. A simple Datejust would also fit in well here.

I agree with this. It's really easy to get sucked in right away the way you have. That said, tastes always change and evolve , and you will likely enjoy it more if you slow down a bit and find out what you really like.

Well, it's your time and money so do as you please.
I like to savor my new purchases for a bit until I'm "ready" for my next.
