Rayce,

Each of my Rolex watches has a different feel when unscrewing crown and pulling out the stem -- even though mostly of them have essentially the same movement. I think it's just the slight differences in the cutting of the threads. Some are slick and easy, while others feel rough and tight. Also, whenever I have one serviced, and the crown and tube are replaced, it will feel different than it did with its old parts. It's unlikely that there's any problem with your watch.
