Need Help with Identification

Hi guys,

I just got this 2nd hand for my wife but I can't seem to find any info other than that it's a ladies Royal Oak. I'm not too familiar with the numbers in the back.

Anyway, I'm hoping some of you can shed some light...

Regards,

lorsban

I'm the first to admit I know nothing about AP's but I find it hard to believe that that they won't line up the name properly on a quality brand like this.

What do you mean? I don't see how it's misaligned.

Doesn't look misaligned to me either. Don't know much about this particular watch, but hopefully someone will chime in shortly.

A D-series with that case nr indicates it's produced around 1990.

As you can see it's a quartz, so the value is quite low I'm afraid.

It's probably a 14470 which would mean the size is 33mm (not including the crown). You might want to check that.

It's a 14470.ST.O.0902.ST.01 33mm as Watchcentric has pointed out. The self-winding version is 14470.ST.O.0708.ST.01.

Thank you! Yes it was definitely cheap. I was actually looking for a ladies Datejust but then this caught my eye because it was the same price.

I thought it was a no-brainer. Don't get me wrong, DJ is also iconic but all too common.

Anyway, with regards to the size this is definitely less than 33mm. It seems closer to a ladies Constellation. Something like 27 or 30mm.

Wow and I thought the Panerai numbers were complicated haha. Anyway, this is definitely smaller than 33mm.

In that case it's 29mm and it's a 66270.ST.O.0722.ST.01

Hope your wife enjoys it!!

Thank you!

My wife definitely loves it. Hasn't taken it off since. And she keeps mentioning these little details she notices about the watch, even moreso than any other watch she's owned.

It's quartz but the design is all AP and I love the practicality of quartz, especially for an older model.

It's probably the pic angle.

I took another pic that's centered.
