AP ROO Leather strap peeling off?

Just noticed that the leather strap on my less than one month old ROO grey is peeling off. Has anyone seen anything like this before? I do perspire easily but I probably wear it only 2-3 times a week and mostly indoor.

woww! mine doesnt have any problem with the strap yet so far and seems really durable however, I didn't try bending it that way.

Whilst straps are considered consumables, I seriously doubt AP would expect theirs to have a one-month durability expectancy.

AP ROO Leather strap peeling off?

Thanks everyone. I have just sent an email to my local APSC. Waiting for their reply.

Yes, the watch was newly bought and under warranty. Was quite surprised the leather strap could just peeled off like this.

Insufficient glue used, possibly.
It could be easily fixed, but better customer experience to just replace it.

glue or stitching....i don't know who AP uses for their straps, but, i imagine they are quality and that they are hand made, so, issues will sometimes occur. surely AP will fix or replace.

AP ROO Leather strap peeling off?

My local APSC has agreed to change a new strap for me as my watch is less than 3 months old.

My new bracelet has arrived. Just nice for this hot summer 😄

PJ, do you think the AP logo should be more to the center? Seems like the technical advisor who adjusted for me is not experienced enough.

The bracelet needs removed and oriented the correct way.
It certainly looks like links have been removed from just the one side, so I would want it more evenly done.

That's amazing! I wish I Could see one in flesh considering getting the bracelet for myself! Does it really wear heavy and is the look on bracelet make the watch tone drops? I mean from the pic it seems a bit monotone can I see more pics please 😄

It does wear heavier than when it was on leather strap. But it is manageable for me and I really like the look with bracelet (although I do miss the hornback strap which looks more casual).

When it was on leather strap, I could wear this ROO with my formal working attire or just casually with shorts and slippers. But with bracelet on, I do find it looking weird with shorts and slippers lol

Personally, I would prefer Grey theme + Grey rubber strap.

As usual, PJ is right. Seems like the tech was a little lazy ... You can fit it so that the clasp is centered (not the mention properly installed). It will be a lot more comfortable this way.
