Tudor Black Bay 36
I saw one in the flesh today at Tourneu in Scottsdale. I've been waiting but walked away unimpressed. Coming from a guy who had worn a 36mm Explorer for years I felt this wore much smaller. The polished SS...18 or maybe 19 lugs.the dial seemed much smaller than the Explorer....I dunno. Not for me. It felt cheap.
Waiting for the new Explorer sometime next year. |

Exp and BB both have their own thing going. When you tried to see an Explorer in the BB is where, in my opinion, you got it wrong.
Pepsi is a horrible Coke. And vice versa. |

It's finally arriving!
I'll see it in the flesh first before I decide! |

I can tell from looking at it that I do not like the combination of circle indices on the dial and snowflake hands. If the hands were regular or the indices were different I would like it.

Not sure but I think the dial is smaller than the Explorer. That may be the key. It also might be worth it to try on the bracelet. This was a strap version. Definitely a secondary market buy.

The crown spoils it for me so far. But I'll reserve final judgment till I've seen one in the flesh!
