Thoughts on 25770ST

So... I could trade my 114060 (6 month old) + $3800 towards a just serviced (by a proper AP dealer costing almost $3000) and polished 25770ST that has a new croc strap, no box or papers though. Should I go for it, thoughts?

I'd save a bit longer and get a newer ROO. Keep the Sub as a beater.

Absolutely! Mine has been in my collection longer than any watch I have ever owned. I am surprised if the service was really USD3000 that didn't include new papers which they will happily do on request. For the service to cost 3k it must have been in really bad shape.

I have seen the receipt. Standard service + mainspring + pushers + crown + polish.

Interresting that many here likes it. I showed it to my friends who are rolex guys and they told me that I shouldn't do it. Damn, all these decisions...

USD3000 is a shocking amount for a straight service on this item!

Welcome to Sweden... A service for an Offshore Crono here from the only AD we have starts at around $2000 dollars.

Pricelist: http://www.nymansur.com/service-prislista#accordion-1

Ouch! Time to move! Especially when you look at the price of beer there too!
