After thinking about it, I would go YM = LV > BLNR.
I absolutely love the new YM. That dial is gorgeous, and I actually really like that blue... in fact I think I will nickname it "The Tick" in keeping with the comic book theme I can't decide if I want my next watch to be the YM or the LV. I already have a GMT IIc, so that is why it is further down the list. |

I always feel that the sub is the correct choice for most questions. But.. That ym looks good but I have never seen one in person.

The Yachtmaster is often overlooked in favor of the Submariner. Hell, I made the same mistake (though cost was a factor) when I got my first Rolex. I understand why people love the Submariner, what I don't understand is why they don't agonize more over consideration of the Yachtmaster. It's basically what the majority of Rolex owners want: a functional yet versatile waterproof watch. While I think the platinum dial will always be a classic configuration, I like the blue and red primary color hints on your model. It gives the model aesthetic nautical cues which underscore the heritage of the piece.
