You negotiated that hard, got a great deal, and still walked?

I've no idea what the prices will do in the future. I paid more than that going gray.

But I'm sure enjoying the heck out of it.

I just sold my Aug 2016 for £13200 as I believed the watch is a load of cash for a rubber bracelet even though a Patek Aquanaut isn't that much cheaper. I think they will roll this out to WG and Platinum.

I was thinking between this and the two tone yachtmaster 2. Leaning towards the yachtmaster 2 pretty much because I agree with you. It's a lot for a rubber strap effectively.

I think it is a beautiful watch minus the rubber strap. I tried it on at my AD and it did not work for me. I think the price is way too high for a rubber strap. I would be a buyer if Rolex ever puts it on a RG Metal Band with the Rubber strap in the box to change out. Just my thoughts.

I think it would be too bling bling with gold bracelet and half the beauty of the current offering is that it's discrete. However a lot of members have asked for a bracelet so maybe they could do that as an option.

Lots of shade towards the rubber strap.

And while I admit, that I prefer straps to bracelets (so I am clearly biased), I would not really be interested in a bracelet version.

Its the contrasting colors that also make this watch so striking....

AND so under the radar in terms of the brand identity.

I tried it on once and really liked it. Only complaint was the gap between the lugs and the strap, but I could get over that very quickly. I didn't end up buying it as I opted for the much less expensive LVC

It's the RG DaytonaC's sportier cousin, both cracking watches.

Guys, I know each strap has 3 sizes to it, but when you buy the watch, how many strap sizes are there to choose from?

Not sure I like the black bezel on the watch.

I'm also wondering how strap sizing works.

How do you feel about the AP ROO on rubber?
116655 seems like a bargain in comparison.

Certain mom and pop ADs will have you take what's available / already mounted on watch, then it's your job to purchase one in your size from RSC. Most AD order E and G.

More common is -
The AD will either have extras they ordered from RSC at $540 each, for you to swap on the spot, or they will order and have you come back in

I tried one on recently I wasn't taken with it to be honest which I was surprised by as it looks so good in the pics!! However, my wife tried on the 37mm and fell totally in love with it!

I absolutely love the watch. Tried it on in person and it looks even better to me. My only hesitation is price and rose gold. If Rolex releases it in WG with the same bezel and dial, I would be all over it, assuming I could get decent grey market pricing under $20K
