I have been looking at All Black pieces and saw this one

I agree and put a deposit down last month on this new Black Bay Dark. AD says it should be in towards the end of August!

I think it looks fantastic, especially with the new endlinks. It's on my "buy" list but I want to wait and hear some first hand experience with that coating first.

Some PVD watches look 10 years old after 6 months. I'd expect Tudor have done some extensive product testing, but too many manufacturers seem to be using early adopters as beta testers these days, so I'm wary.

Aesthetically it's a home run, I just hope it's durable.

Red and black are my favorite colors so I think that looks great.

That being said, I just don't like the idea of coated watches. At some point, it's going to get scratched or dinged and it's going to stand out horribly against the rest of the black.

It does look sharp. Does Rolex retreat with fresh PVD coating at service intervals as I know many are concerned with long term PVD durability?
