Own 114060. Recommend next USD 30K watch

Hi

I have got a 114060 and looking at next one at a budget 30k.

Appreciate anyone's recommendation, any brand, BNIB or preowned

Ok that is a huge budget for a single watch. You need to give us some information about what you like and dislike. The possibilities are endless. Rolex full gold (what color gold do you like ??) , AP, Patek nautilus, among many many more options.

If it was me spending your money I would buy several SS rolex watches (am currently doing this very thing). I can recommend a Patek 5711 or 5712 if you can find one. Since you like the sub you can't go wrong with a 116618 blusey for some bling.

Patek 5726 on strap comes to mind...does a lot of things in one watch...otherwise maybe a white gold sky dweller with charcoal face on strap...

I'd probably go Patek, Nautilus maybe? What type of watches do you like or feel like you need to add to your collection? Dress, another sports watch, Gold?

For a single watch at or near 30k, no question for me it would be a DD 36mm in YG.

However, if I were spending up to 30k at one time on my watch hobby, I'd gather up several: SD4k, Yachtmaster Platinum dial (5 digit reference), TT Sub date, and possibly a SubC date if like you I already had the non date. I'm a little partial to Submariners.

Why not pick the watch, instead of the budget.

Get what you like, regardless of cost. It's always better that way.

Agree. If the watch you want the most costs 30k, so be it. If not, no reason to spend that much just because.

Agreed, but there are several watches in that price that I would love!

I personally would probably try and get preowned 15300/Diver and a 5167 within that budget, but that's just me.

If it had to go into one watch, probably 5167R, 5164, or RG Yachtmaster
